Forum Revamp

So my big news is that I am on a mission! To kickstart my forum LOL I was offline for so long last year that it started dying a slow death.. but that isnt an excuse any more, so I am going to start a bit of a PR campaign and try and breathe a new life into it. We just had a platform upgrade and I am planning on designing some new skins for it - the current project is for a Twlight themed skin after Stephenie Meyer's Twilight Series (of which I am a devotee). The problem is that I spend most of my time here at dA and at facebook, and it is difficult to tear myself away... I have a 2008 book challenge - where we set a goal and try to read that many books - keeping a record of each book we read - my target is 150 books this year, and I am up to about 40. The general target is 50 LOL

Oh, and I plan to design my own css for this journal - I just have to find a couple of uninterrupted hours to play ith Macromedia Fireworks and CCS code :giggle:

Why I DevWatch..


I know i have a lot of people I am watching, and i know some people wonder why, when I am as active here as i once was (damn full time employment, but yeays for the pay check!!) I follow so many people. The fact of the matter is there are just so many wonderful artists here at dA and I can never remember them all.. So when i come across someone I am intriqued with, i check out their gallery, and when i like what i see I will devwatch.. Sometimes I only get to see one or two pieces, and some people do wonder why peeps do this. I see it as a form of bookmarking. I plan to come back, to take the time to more greatly appreicate your gallery, when I'm not at work, and have enough time to do it justice. its also a good way to keep track of people - i randomly click on the My Friends option and play spin the bottle - choosing a random deviant to catch up on all their work with.. So please dont get frustrated with me when i devwatrch and run, or even fav and run.. it means i love your work, and plan to come back and devote some time to you later, at my own leisure...
